Morning Weigh In: Down 1.2 lbs.
This is the first day out of this experience that I haven’t felt hungry when I woke up. I actually opened the refrigerator and realized that I could say “no” to just about everything in there. It’s a great feeling! As I go through this program, I’m finding that about 90% of my struggles come from my mental state. I’ve gotten into habits of eating whatever is quick and easy instead of taking a moment to really comprehend what’s going in my mouth – and obviously, straight to my hips!
I noticed I was a little jittery this morning, so I cut my coffee down. A half of a cup and I’m pretty good to go. I experienced high energy today – hooray! I’m down another 1.2 pounds and with each day that passes, I know I can get through this while I see these kinds of results.
I had some flounder that I had prepared the night before (thinking that I’d just have this for lunch). Because it was what I had already fixed, I needed to choke this down for lunch. Yuck! I will continue to remind myself of the goal which is the one that keeps me going. And, oh yes, the water…can’t forget the water…
Lunch: 3oz flounder, cucumber (with apple cider vinegar and pinch of salt), an apple and one breadstickDinner: 3oz. chicken, tomatoes, strawberries and one breadstick My calorie intake was a little below 500, so I threw in a couple of extra strawberries. Hope that’s okay!
