Okay, no shots to look forward to, but I am still maintaining this grueling, monotonous low calorie diet. I woke to a loss – hooray! And currently, I am 17.8 pounds down. I feel as though I’m getting a bit hungry but I attribute that to the anticipation of eating real food again. I will be faithful to very end of this whole thing and I’m getting anxious for the stabilization phase. I’ve already started making mental notes of the foods I will be able to enjoy again.
My energy has been pretty consistent and there’s so much to do with the holidays getting closer that I’ll need every bit of that energy to keep me distracted as the cookies, cakes and candies are being made. Deep breathes!
Some have asked why I decided to take this diet on during the holiday season with so many temptation at every turn and I figure that if I can make it through the most difficult of seasons, I will have a better chance of maintaining whatever loss I experience. (Just a little mental game I like to play, which so far has been working!)
Lunch: 3oz lean ground beef with tomatoes, one breadstick and one apple
Dinner: 3oz. chicken, tomatoes, one breadstick and an orange for desert
I’ve hit my goal of drinking 72oz of water today and I’ve noticed that if I really stay conscious on this habit, I feel so much better the next day. Do yourself a favor; stay faithful to the water consumption. Even when you feel as though your gag reflex has gone into overtime, it becomes easier and is a great way to feel a consistent internal cleanse. One transition day down – two more to fight through!
