(Phoenix, AZ) – In fourth quarter 2009 Derma Health Institute saw a significant increase in injectables like Botox and Dysport as well as facial fillers like Juvederm and Perlane. A recent survey conducted by MEDACorp uncovered similar results, reporting these procedures had increased nationwide for the first time since the economic downturn began in 2007. Findings like this may indicate consumers are beginning to feel a sense of economic optimism.
“Last year our Botox and Dysport business increased by 115% and our Juvederm and Perlane business increased 89%,” said Trish Gulbranson, Derma Health Institute owner. “This is a positive sign that patients feel like the market is starting to turn around.”
In this economic climate companies like Allergan, the maker of Botox, have also increased their customer service programs. They recently started a promotion called Brilliant Distinctions, which encourages customers to sign up for an email list and get up to $50 in credit towards their first Botox visit at Derma Health Institute. Patients then receive emails every 4-6 months reminding them to make their next Botox appointment. According to Gulbranson customers absolutely love this VIP service.
“The nice thing about Botox and Juvederm is that they’re a quick fix, minimally invasive and provide instant results. We’ve seen a decrease in the cost of both these products in the last few years. An average woman can get Botox for about $250 and get rid of that ‘angry line’ between their eyes. Juvederm treatments have also decreased in cost to from $600 a syringe to $399. With these, patients come out looking years younger, rejuvenated and relaxed.”

Paradise Valley Welcomes New Derma Health Institute

Derma Health Institute is excited to announce the opening of their third office in the East Valley. The new location, at 1345 East Chandler Boulevard in Ahwatukee, is scheduled to open January 5th, 2009.

Join us in experiencing our laser treatments through live demonstrations on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at all three of our locations! This is a great opportunity to see how our laser treatments actually work and ask questions of our doctor and laser clinicians.
